Donation to Research Fund

On 14 February 2015 members of the Sheffield Group attended the Diabetes UK Northern and Yorkshire Regional Conference in York. We presented a cheque for £20,000 to the Diabetes UK Research Fund.

This brings the total raised by the Sheffield Group since 1993 to £190,000.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped towards this magnificent total by collecting at Supermarkets, recycling bottle tops, helping at events, donating goods and money etc. If we all keep up the good work we will soon exceed £200,000 and be well on our way to a quarter of a million pounds !
