About us

ABOUT DIABETES UK SHEFFIELD GROUP

We are a local group of Diabetes UK.

We offer support and information to anyone with an interest in diabetes, including people living with diabetes, families, friends and carers.

MEETINGS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO ALL (see Events page for details) There is always the opportunity to ask questions.

Meetings are usually held at 11 Norfolk Row, Sheffield S1 2JB (Houlden Hall).

At the moment these are replaced by virtual meetings via Zoom.

Norfolk Row is the pedestrian walkway between Fargate and the Crucible Theatre. The entrance is the blue door between Nottingham Building Society and St Maries Cathedral, and the meeting room is on the first floor, accessible via stairs or lift.

Our goal is to provide support and educate people living with diabetes, as well as their family, friends and anyone else who is interested in knowing more about diabetes.

We encourage those interested to attend our group meetings which are a welcoming and social environment for people to discuss diabetes and its effects. Support and companionship are some of the simplest yet most important aspects of living with diabetes - this is why our group exists and we want to help in any way that we can.
