Gum Disease and Diabetes
- 18 May 2017
Professor Gareth Griffiths (Periodontologist at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital) will talk to the group about a subject not that often discussed. Whilst many of us are familiar with the potential complications of diabetes, the effect on our teeth and gums is rarely discussed.
Prof Griffiths will be talking about diabetes and gum disease, and taking your questions on the subject.
Houlden Hall is next to the Cathedreal Church of St Marie on Norfolk Row, Sheffield. The door is to the left of the church and the top buzzer is for Houlden Hall - though we usually have a greeter on the door.
Meetings are a great place for you to find out more information about diabetes, learn more about the Sheffield Group, and for you to meet other people with diabetes and benefit from their experiences.
You can find us on Norfolk Row, entry by the green door next to St Marie's Church and opposite Vero Gusto. The meetings are on the first floor (accessible by lift). Doors are open from 7pm for refreshments and mingling before the meeting starts at 7:30pm. We aim to finish by 9pm!
